Matt Mantei is a former professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Florida Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Boston Red Sox. Mantei made his MLB debut in 1995 with the Marlins and quickly established himself as a hard-throwing reliever known for his fastball that regularly reached speeds of over 100 mph.
